SHIPPING & HANDLING
Barberbred tries its best to ship out your products in the most timely and cost effective way possible. We are not responsible for any delays resulting from weather, wrong address, strikes, or any conditions out of our control. Merchandise is shipped via UPS, FedEx, DHL, or freight truck lines. Rates are calculated in accordance with merchandise weight/size/dimension and delivery destination. Signature is required for delivery unless requested otherwise through the use of the Signature Waiver Form. A street address of either a residence or business is required for delivery. Shipping to a residential address will be at additional cost. P.O. Box or APO addresses are not acceptable for shipping. All orders take about 1-3 days to process. Shipping charges are non-refundable. Merchandise shipped by freight truck lines will be delivered to the curbside of your business or residence. If an attempted delivery was made and the customer was not at the location to receive the shipment, the customer will be held responsible for Re-delivery fees. We currently only ship merchandise within the United States.
FREE GROUND SHIPPING
We offer free standard Ground shipping on most items within Contiguous 48 US States. All orders take about 1-3 business days to process. Standard Ground shipping takes 3-7 business days to arrive at your delivery destination. If an attempted delivery was made and the customer was not at the delivery destination to receive the shipment, the customer will be held responsible for Re-delivery fees. Express, Rushed, & Over-Night delivery is available on most in-stock merchandise. Charges may vary and are calculated on an individual basis. Express orders placed before 12 am EST will ship out the next business day. Express orders placed after 12 am EST will ship out within the next 2 business days.
FREIGHT TRUCK DELIVERY
Your order may be shipped via freight truck line depending on the size of your order. Typically, items that are large and bulky require freight truck.
Products weighing up to 75 lbs. will typically be allowed to ship via UPS Ground. If multiple products are purchased and together exceed the maximum Ground Shipping weight limit, the shipping quote will transition from Ground to Freight. In some cases a product may have exterior dimensions which require Freight shipping, in which case this will be clearly marked in the Specifications tab on the product information page.
Products weighting over 75 lbs., or products with oversize exterior dimensions, will ship Freight via an 18-wheel truck. Assembly or set-up is NOT included with freight shipping. Due to the large size of many of our products, some or all of the following may be part of a Freight delivery:
1) Lift Gate Fee - Fee required for the Freight delivery truck to arrive with an "elevator" to lower the shipment to ground level. This is often necessary to safely lower a shipment, often containing hundreds of pounds of equipment or more, to ground level. If this option is pre-checked in the cart, it is highly recommended not to alter this choice. If you feel the Lift Gate Fee has been applied in error, please feel free to call our Sales Team at 410-929-5549.
2) Residential Delivery Fee - Fee required for delivery to a residential area, regardless if a business is present in the residential area. This fee is required due to residential areas being largely inaccessible to 18-wheel trucks. Deliveries to residential areas often require the products to be loaded onto a smaller delivery truck, which may also require a Lift Gate as described above. 3) Inside Delivery Fee - Delivery to the inside of your building is NOT included on curbside freight deliveries. Inside delivery is available at an additional charge, ONLY if your building is accessible to palletized freight deliveries made with a pallet jack. 4) Pallets & Crates - Many of our larger products are packaged in boxes with protective wood crates. Both oversize boxes and wood crated products are typically placed on wood pallets for delivery. Shrink wrap is also placed around the perimeter of these larger shipments.
IF SHIPMENT IS DAMAGED
You must notify the delivery man of the damage and you MUST make notes take pictures on the extent of visible damage & the probable concealed damage onto the freight bill before the driver leaves. Contact Barberbred and the Delivery Company to inform them of the extent of the damages and file a damage claim. Barberbred and the Delivery Company will require pictures of the damages and request to inspect the merchandise. (In most cases, you may receive a cash adjustment for costs, or an arrangement for the Delivery Company to cover repair costs, or get a merchandise reimbursement.) Keep ALL original packaging materials, until your claim is settled, or for the return of your damaged merchandise. All damage claims must be addressed to the Delivery Company. BarberBred, is not responsible for damages incurred during transport to delivery destination. Damage claims pertaining to causes other than shipping will be reviewed and authorized for reimbursement at the discretion of our Claims Department. If merchandise is defective, notify BarberBred within 24 hours and retain ALL original materials, accessories, and packaging. Customer service representatives will instruct you on the additional steps that need to be taken. Failure to retain ALL original materials, accessories, and packaging may delay or result in the refusal of your damage claim.
Items temporarily out-of-stock may be back-ordered at customer's request and at the discretion of BarberBred. All shipping fees & costs remain applicable to all back-orders. A customer representative will contact you with an estimated delivery time frame.
No C.O.D. service is available. All merchandise have to be prepaid before shipment is made.
Refusal / Failure of Shipment
The customer will be held responsible for Shipping Charges and return shipping charges are subject to a 25% Restocking Fee for orders that are REFUSED at the time of delivery or RETURNED because the delivery location to receive the items where unable to deliver. All returns are subject to a 25% restocking fee. Some items are non-returnable including, but not limited to: special order merchandise, non-stock items, closeout items, and personal hygiene items (razors and razor blades). Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. No credit will be given until all returned merchandise has been received and inspected.
Additionally, if you received free shipping on your order and your return adjusts your order total below the free shipping minimum, original shipping charges will be deducted from the refund.
All defective clippers and trimmers under warranty must be sent to the manufacturer for warranty repair.
